Question by Sam a lam: unknown credit card billed?
I recently realised that somebody was being charged my bills through the automatic payment.I called the company and corrected my credit card number, (I received only the first billing in this card and the rest was charged to unknown number ) . I would like the the payments to be refunded to the anonymous payer and also prevent any wrong complaints be filed against me like " the customer gave us the wrong number." How do I do this? To which official agency do I make the repor ?

Your creditor should make the change. Once you've notified them, they should refund the mistaken card, and charge yours (want to bet which one they'll do first?
You may have to pester them about it.

That’s pretty much impossible – The credit card account number, expiration date & security code must all match before they will be approved – Sometimes they will also verify zip code and/or street number before approval.
The charges weren’t going on someone else’s card without all those things matching their account information.
You will have to contact you card company, and ask them what there process is to do this, each card company’s have different rule regrading this.
