HungKiet December 7, 2010 at 4:28 am

@HungKiet thanks mate, but im talking about U.S passport

HungKiet December 7, 2010 at 4:46 am

@untouchblz if you use hammer they will detect it!!!

untouchblz December 7, 2010 at 5:23 am

@HungKiet use a hammer to destroy the chip without leaving evidence of tampering or damaging govt property

untouchblz December 7, 2010 at 5:51 am

@legitfreek just dont pay them wait for statue of limitations, if collection agencies win a judgment against you (which is very easy to avoid) it is a civil matter not criminal. And depending on your state laws, they dont have access to your assets or wage garnishments. screw the banks, they screwed us.

untouchblz December 7, 2010 at 6:02 am

@grifrin a hammer, is the only way to disable the rfid without leaving evidence of “wrong doing”, they can’t prosecute u.

Jaguarpaw729 December 7, 2010 at 6:21 am

In this economy… Who needs plastic that you can’t pay for?

Unisio December 7, 2010 at 7:05 am

@grifrin Hahaha the powers to track your travel whereabouts?! Are you serious?! You’re logged for traveling into every country you visit, lol this cracks me up. Either you conspiracy nuts panic about closed borders and then you panic about open borders give me a break hahaha!

BumbleBeeGS December 7, 2010 at 8:01 am

Lol there was probably a couple hundred …transmitters i suppose you can call them, in that card. They can probably track you still, they just cant read the information from it. Id be surprised if they havnt integrated the chip into the credit cards ability to work correctly. Can you still use it after doing that?
and if it does work, i can see a standard hole punch being 100 times better Lol.

@legitfreek You arent a fucking slave to the ‘system’ as long as you DONT SPEND MORE THAN YOU HAVE…It’s really not that hard, plus credit cards a nice secure way of paying for things, yes there are risks, but there are risks to walking around with hundreds if not thousands of dollars in your pocket. Just pay the damn think off every month and you dont have to worry about shit, or be a slave to anyone.

grifrin December 7, 2010 at 9:04 am

@netwrkingman just curious has this worked 4 anyone you know

grifrin December 7, 2010 at 9:27 am

dotben, the pissy, rotten, generally mean comments generate from genuinely unhappy frustrated people dont let it put you off-brilliant post..

00011theman December 7, 2010 at 10:12 am

@mrwiggly29 No I dont think so

HungKiet December 7, 2010 at 11:00 am

how you remove chip from U.S passport???

mrwiggly29 December 7, 2010 at 11:30 am

Do they have the RFID in the prepaid visa cards too?.

fuckingharpsichord December 7, 2010 at 11:37 am

ikea set !

netwrkingman December 7, 2010 at 12:28 pm

@grifrin Actually there is a way. Make a little sleeve out of aluminum foilf the wrap it in duct tape and it will block outgoing signals but will still work when you need to present it to authorities

dotben December 7, 2010 at 1:12 pm

@grifrin there is no stealthy way of doing that because the point at which it will get found out is when the passport officer puts the passport on the reader and nothing happens.

I saw some articles about doing this to your passport but the problem is passports are owned by the country you are a citizen of so it’s almost certainly a crime to deface your passport. Also they will tell you to get a new one if the chip is damanged.

grifrin December 7, 2010 at 1:42 pm

I want to do this to my new passport but not land in jail 4 doing so is there a stealth way of doing this? I dont want the powers that be to track my travel whereabouts.

@dnave21 its well suspect that governments observe libraries for the borrowing of certain books i.e. political books etc. scanning technology is now also used for the phone system for when certain words are used i.e. Kill, murder, bomb ect.

SummerGameProject December 7, 2010 at 3:34 pm
